Description

A wallet from the workshop of Trque Leathers in Kawagoe, Saitama prefecture — a Japanese one-man maker with a name in the local motorcycle and kustom scene. His stamp is pressed into the inner pocket.

How it is made

Harness leather, hand-sewn with the saddle stitch — two needles working through the same hole from opposite sides. If one thread breaks, the rest holds. That is how horse tack is sewn, and it is why a wallet like this survives decades. A stamped concho sits on the flap, a braided edge runs around the outside.
