Dean Jeffries was a pinstriper, a coachbuilder and a stunt driver — and one of the few who could do all three. Out of his shop on Sunset came the Mantaray, the Monkeemobile and the Black Beauty from «The Green Hornet», along with movie cars for Hollywood and race cars for Indy.

Tom Cotter interviewed Jeffries and those around him at length — including his long-time neighbour and rival George Barris. With 250 rare photographs and drawings from Jeffries' own archive. Foreword by Brock Yates.
