Description

Large bowl cut from a grown burl, the outside keeping the natural bark edge and the open spots of the wood, the inside worked smooth and polished. Every side looks different — the shape comes from the tree, not from the lathe.

Dimensions

  • length about 50 cm, height about 20 cm (read off the folding rule)

Condition

Good. Grown cracks and inclusions belong to the piece; the inside is smooth and the bowl stands firmly.

Collection

Collection in Rickenbach ZH, too bulky to ship.
