Description

NEW

A turbine blade from the hottest zone of a jet engine — hollow inside with cooling channels, fir-tree root at the base. Retired during maintenance (marked «Scrap», visible crack) — which is exactly why it can live on your shelf instead of in an engine.

What does it do?

Sits directly behind the combustion chamber where temperatures exceed 1000 °C — hotter than the melting point of its own metal. The blade only survives because cooling air flows through its internal channels and forms a protective film from fine holes. Each single blade delivers about as much power as a Formula 1 engine.
