A desk clock of the kind that sat on executive desks in the seventies: a solid smoked acrylic block with four recessed corners, holding a polished brass sphere with the movement in its hollow. The sphere lifts out.

The appeal is in the pairing: a heavy transparent block against warm brass, with a plain dial, baton indices and slim hands. No chrome, no plastic — exactly the material combination this period is valued for again.
