A 3D-printed tiki figure, about 10 centimetres tall, in glossy brown: serrated headdress, bared mouth, arms held at the sides.

How it was made

This is not a carved piece but a 3D print — and it shows in raking light: fine, even layer lines run along the edges of the headdress and across the curve of the body. That is exactly why the points of the crown came out so regular; by hand they would be less even.

What that means for the price

A print can be repeated at will — so it is not a unique piece, and the price sits accordingly low. It still works as a figure with presence: the form is cleanly resolved, the surface evenly coloured, and on a shelf its origin does not announce itself.

Condition
