Description

Large standing tiki with a tall, smooth conical crown. The face sits low: heavy brows, a wide-open mouth with a row of teeth, arms held close. The wood is weathered grey and open-pored — this tiki stood outside.

Why it looks right

The weathering takes all the sweetness out of it. The grain stands proud, the edges are soft, the colour grew over years rather than being applied. That state is exactly what people look for in old tiki guardians.
