Description

A rectangular wooden tag, hand-painted with a tiki face — green around the eyes, yellow ground, strong black outlines — strung on a cord of black and white beads.

How it is made

The paint sits straight on the wood without primer: you can see the grain through the lighter areas. The outlines are drawn with a brush, not printed — the stroke shows at the transitions. The beaded cord is knotted and long enough to slip over the head.
