Description

Prepared shark jaw mounted on a wooden board with a rope frame running around it. An old brass plate below names it «Tigerhai-Gebiß» — German for tiger shark jaw, spelled in a way that points to an older collection mounting.

Key facts

  • Shark jaw, multiple rows, fully toothed
  • Wooden board with rope frame, hanger on the back
  • Engraved brass plate

Condition

Good for its age. Teeth complete, cartilage dry and stable, board with age marks.

Important on shipping

Sharks are partly protected species. Within Switzerland the sale of this old preparation is unproblematic — I do not ship it abroad. Pickup in Rickenbach or shipping within Switzerland.
