Description

A silver bar «Yankee Doodle — Spirit of '76», limited edition, still in its factory seal.

The occasion

In 1976 the United States celebrated two hundred years of independence, and the market was flooded with commemoratives. Very little of it survived unopened — here the seal is the actual value. With silver the metal value is the floor; everything above it is set by the collectors' market. Certificate, original case and condition decide the premium.
