About the maker

Schuco of Nuremberg has been building models since 1912 and is one of the brands where collectors watch the packaging: a model with its original box is regularly worth a multiple of the same model loose. Until the grounding of 2001 Swissair was a piece of how Switzerland saw itself. What is left of it is collected today by people who still remember the cross on the tail — prices for good material have been rising for years.
