acrylic block · newspaper advertising · chain stub, no ring
Item no. 050-752-000
An old key fob in clear acrylic: orange on the front with the words «chaque jour · LE PROGRÈS · un ami fidèle», on the back an orange sun face with a ring of rays.
Advertising for the French daily Le Progrès, cast into acrylic — the kind you found at every kiosk in the sixties and seventies. Both sides are laid in under the block, not printed on top; that is why they have stayed so sharp.
Of the key ring only a short stub of chain is left, the ring itself is gone. That is not damage to be talked away — it is stated here so that nobody is surprised. A new ring costs nothing.
There is no photograph with a tape measure for this piece. The block is about the size of a thumbnail squared. I will measure it on request.
Used. Acrylic clear, print complete and sharp on both sides. Fine scratches on the surface, a small knock at one edge. The ring is missing.
