A bar-fitting classic: a reclining ceramic female figure whose bikini top consists of two lift-off shakers — one for salt, one for pepper.

Placing it

Sets like this were standard stock in American souvenir shops and tiki bars from the fifties on. The humour is of its time and isn't dressed up here — it is part of what makes these objects period documents today.
