NEU
round, domed · flame lettering · Mopar licence on the back
Item no. 010-654-000
A round, domed emblem lettered «Plymouth Rapid Transit System» in flame type on black and red. The back carries the Mopar mark with the note «Official Licensed Product».
In 1970 Plymouth grouped its fastest models under this name — Road Runner, GTX, 'Cuda, Duster 340. The name was a joke at public transport's expense, and the advertising ran the cars as a fleet. Anyone collecting Mopar today knows the mark; it stands for the last two years before emissions rules and insurance premiums shut the muscle cars down.
The back identifies it as an officially licensed product — not a copied sticker but goods cleared by Mopar. With collectables that matters, not for age but for the right to carry the mark.
Very good. Strong colours, surface free of scratches or cracks, back cleanly legible.
