The real car

In 1970 the Barracuda moved onto the new E-body platform and the sporting version became the 'Cuda. Wide track, short hood, everything from the 340 to the 426 Hemi on offer. Genuine Hemi 'Cuda convertibles are today among the most expensive American cars of any kind.

About the range

Among collectors Highway 61 counts as the more precise address: finer engraving, real fabric and metal parts, correctly reproduced engine bays. The runs were small, and since the brand was discontinued they are markedly harder to find than Ertl.
