Description

The «Color and Trim Selector» the Plymouth dealer worked with on the showroom floor in 1968: a blue vinyl album holding the actual paint chips and fabric swatches of that model year.

What it was for

Not a brochure but a tool. The customer leafed through it, felt the fabric and saw the paint in daylight instead of in four-colour print. For a restoration it is the most reliable source there is: what is stuck in here is the colour as it came out of the gun in 1968 — no scan, no conversion, no colour space.

Condition

Clear wear to the binding, scratches and pressure marks in the vinyl, blocking partly rubbed. Complete and usable inside. Workshop-used, not display-cased — which is exactly why it is genuine.
