Highway 61 / DCP · 1:18 · limited to 504 · with box · one mirror missing
Item no. 050-053-014
The 1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda in white with a black roof — 1:18 by Highway 61 / DCP, a numbered edition of 504, with its original box.
AAR stands for All American Racers, Dan Gurney's team, which campaigned the Barracuda in the Trans-Am series. The road version got the 340 Six Pack, a matt black fibreglass hood, side-exit exhausts and bigger tyres at the rear. It was built in 1970 only, in just under 2,700 examples.
Among collectors Highway 61 counts as the more precise address: finer engraving, real fabric and metal parts, correctly reproduced engine bays. The runs were small, and since the brand was discontinued they are markedly harder to find than Ertl. This model was a numbered edition of 504.
Good condition, one wing mirror is missing. Box present. Reflected in the price.
