Description

A PlayStation 3 in the first, large form factor — the one with the curved piano-black case, the embossed PLAYSTATION 3 lettering and the vent grille across the whole back.

Why this version

The first PS3 is the heaviest and most elaborate of the line: at launch it was competitive as a Blu-ray player, it had the Cell processor, and the earliest versions even offered PS2 backwards compatibility. Among collectors it is this form factor that is wanted.

Honest about condition

The unit has not been tested. No cable and no controller are included; whether it boots is unverified. The price reflects that — anyone after a working console should factor it in; anyone restoring or harvesting one gets a complete, externally well-kept case.
