Description

A pin-up figure in a red bikini, standing on a base modelled as rock, long dark hair down her back. Hand-painted.

How it is made

The figure is cast and finished by hand — you can see the brushwork at the hairline and the edge of the bikini, and the paint lies thinner on the raised areas. The base is modelled as a piece of rock and carries her securely. Figures like this stood in bars, on toolboxes and in shop windows; made as a series, but each painted a little differently.
