Description

A round serving tray in metal, around 26 cm: in the middle a large Pepsi-Cola bottle cap on yellow and white stripes, on the yellow rim the lettering alternating with small caps.

What is printed

Along the lower edge of the central field the trademark note runs in five languages side by side: «Reg. Varem. · Marque Déposée · Eingetr. Warenz. · Marca Registrada · Trade Mark Reg.», followed by the code «HS 264». A tray for the European market, then, not for the USA.

About the age

The motif is the two-line bottle cap with the swing in the lettering as Pepsi used it in the fifties and sixties. No year appears anywhere on it, and none can be derived from the motif alone — so I name none.

Measured

Around 26 cm in diameter, read off the tape. The tape lies across the back in the second photograph.
