About: Pepsi-Cola

Description

Pepsi-Cola tin sign with the well-known 1940s pin-up motif — «BIG 12 OZ. BOTTLE», five cents. A modern reproduction, sold as decoration for garage or kitchen — not an original.

The story behind it

The motif itself is genuine forties: Pepsi advertised twice the content for the same price back then. This sign is a later reprint of it — pretty on the wall, but without collector value.
