Brand: Hawaiian Distillers · Okolehao

Description

Three-part Okolehao set by Hawaiian Distillers: the black tiki bottle with its jagged headdress, the removable cup that serves as the lid, and the square base that doubles as an ashtray — «Royal Okolehao» crest in the well, four rests at the corners.

Key facts

Gold label: «OKOLEHAO — The Drink of Kings … Hawaiian Distillers, Honolulu, Hawaii»
Underside of the base embossed: «HANDCRAFTED WITH LAVA by HAWAIIAN DISTILLERS in HAWAII»
Brass plaque on the closure: «REGISTERED SERIAL Nº», struck by hand — probably 12016; the last digit cannot be read with certainty from the photos
Remains of the red tax strip over the closure
Front of the base in gold: «THE SPIRIT OF HAWAII»

Condition

Good. The gold label is present but torn and partly lifted; the tax strip is old and split. Black surfaces with fine marks of use, the gold lettering on the base fully legible.
