Description

A small moai in dark wood with the stern face of the Easter Island figures — drilled at the top and fitted with a cord.

How it is made

The features are set with a few cuts: the long nose, the heavy brows, the jutting chin. Nothing more is needed for a moai to read as a moai. The back is kept flat so the pendant lies against you instead of tipping.

Key facts

  • Moai pendant, dark wood
  • Drilled at the top, with a cord
  • Flat back
  • Hand-carved

Condition

Good. Complete, no breaks. The wood is dry and matt, the hole clean. The cord is a plain one and can be replaced.
