Description

A very small brass figure: a standing dog with pricked ears, head turned to the side, tail held out horizontally.

What you see

Despite the size, ears, muzzle and legs are cleanly formed, the four legs stand free — the figure stands by itself. The casting is slightly wavy at the edges, as is usual with very small sand castings.

About the material

Bare brass, bright on the raised parts, darker in the recesses. No colour, no lacquer.

About the size

There is no photograph with a tape measure for this figure. It is clearly smaller than a thumb joint. I will measure it on request.
