Description

The complete run of Dian Hanson's standard work on the men's magazines of the twentieth century — all six volumes, published by Taschen between 2004 and 2005. From the first title around 1900 to the end of the seventies; roughly 460 pages per volume, colour throughout, with German, English and French text side by side.

How they are made

Each volume has a board embossed in crocodile grain in its own colour — red, dark green, blue, light blue, mint and pink — with a cut-out pin-up figure on top. Lined up on a shelf, the run is half the pleasure of the thing.

Condition

All six complete and clean, boards free of dents and corner knocks, blocks tight, no markings. Used, but carefully kept.
