A model of the Lockheed Super Constellation — the four-engined propliner with the curved fuselage and the triple fin.
The «Connie» flew the North Atlantic routes in the fifties, Swissair among them. Its fuselage curves because Lockheed let the cabin follow the airflow rather than the other way round; the triple fin existed so it would fit into the hangars of the day. When the jets arrived it was finished within a few years — and it is still held to be the most elegant airliner ever built.
Used, marks appropriate to its age.
