Description

The slipcase «Kleine Erotische Sammlung I» with four volumes — slim, dark cloth bindings each with a small mounted picture on the board. One of them is Uwe Scheid's «Das erotische Imago II»; Scheid was the collector whose holdings of early nude photography made many of these editions possible in the first place.

What is inside

Nude photographs and erotic picture postcards from before the First World War through the interwar years — studio work, hand-coloured cards, series. Plates with brief accompanying text.

Condition

Four volumes and slipcase together. The slipcase is rubbed along the edges and slightly bumped at one corner; the volumes themselves are clean and tight. Barcode labels on the back boards.
