Two black wire brackets hang from two wall hooks, carrying three shelves of lacquered sheet metal: light blue on top, black in the middle, petrol blue below. Front and back edges are folded over and the shelves simply rest in the brackets — height and order can be changed in minutes. This is the Dutch wire-shelf construction of the 1950s, the principle Adriaan Dekker devised in 1958 (Tomado/Pilastro type). No stamp and no label are visible on this piece, so the attribution stays open. The three colours do not match: either assembled from two sets or repainted once. If that bothers you, repaint; if you like it, leave it. Condition: signs of use, paint missing along some edges, everything solid. Collection in person.
