Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth in black – the four-door Group A icon with the legendary Cosworth turbo engine, freshly and properly restored bodywise.

At its heart the 2.0 16V turbo (YB) with the green «Ford Cosworth» cam cover and Garrett turbo: well over 200 hp, rear-wheel drive, crisp 5-speed gearbox. Plus the classic Cosworth multi-spoke wheels, the iconic whale-tail and a well-kept grey sports-leather interior.

The photos show the condition honestly: arches and fuel-filler area properly de-rusted, rebuilt and repainted – no filler cover-up, just good metal. A collector's piece that is hard to find like this.

The story

Cosworth – the Northampton engine firm that shaped Formula 1 with the DFV V8. In 1986 Ford put that engineering into the Sierra RS Cosworth: 2 litres, 16 valves, turbo, homologated for Group A – and it dominated touring cars and rallying. The four-door Sapphire brought the same tech in a sharper suit in 1988. Today a sought-after modern classic.
