Description

Two 13-inch steel wheels with Michelin 185/70 HR 13 XVS 2 tyres fitted. The wheels have four studs on a 4-inch bolt circle (101.6 mm) — the pattern of the Chrysler A-bodies: Valiant, Dart, early Barracuda.

About the tyres — please read

The DOT code on the sidewall has three digits. Three-digit codes were issued up to 1999; since then they have four. These tyres are therefore more than a quarter of a century old. Rubber goes hard and cracks, however good the tread still looks.

So they are for rolling, standing and shifting — not for driving. Anyone bolting these under a car that moves should fit new tyres. Anyone dressing a static vehicle, a display or a wall gets the period Michelin sidewall that is no longer made.

Condition

Steel wheels with surface rust and paint chips, nothing buckled, no welds, stud holes not elongated. Tread present, sidewalls without visible cracks. Photographed uncleaned — as they came out of store.
