DVD «Gone in 60 Seconds» · the Halicki original

The DVD of «Gone in 60 Seconds» in the German edition «Nur noch 60 Sekunden» — expressly H. B. Halicki’s original, not the remake. The golden Mustang «Eleanor» on the cover.

Halicki made the film in 1974 largely single-handed: he wrote it, directed it, played the lead and drove the chase himself. Its length is the legend — the cover names 40 minutes and 93 wrecked cars. It was shot without computers and largely without road closures; you can see it.

German version by Concorde, rated 16, in a clear plastic case. The back carries the blurb with the «Over 5000» claims and the usual small print.

The disc has not been played. No scratches are visible in the photographs, but I have not tested it.
