The 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T in black, 1:18 by Highway 61 / DCP.

The real car

1967 was the year Dodge introduced the R/T badge at all — on the Coronet. Standard was the 440 Magnum with 375 hp, with the 426 Hemi on the options list. A year later the Coronet programme produced the Super Bee.

About the range

Among collectors Highway 61 counts as the more precise address: finer engraving, real fabric and metal parts, correctly reproduced engine bays. The runs were small, and since the brand was discontinued they are markedly harder to find than Ertl.
