The real car

The 68/69 Charger is the best-known shape Chrysler ever built — hidden headlights, coke-bottle flanks, full-width tail lights. The R/T package meant a 440 Magnum as standard, Hemi at extra cost, heavy-duty suspension. The 1969 differs from the 68 by its split grille and new tail lights.

The series

Ertl «American Muscle» was the most widespread 1:18 line for US vehicles from the nineties onwards: well proportioned, with opening doors, hood and trunk. Not the finest level of detail, but solidly built and no longer available new.
