The real car

The second-generation Charger arrived in 1968 and became an icon overnight. You tell the '68 from the '69 by the full-width grille without a centre divider and by the round tail lights. In that first year Dodge sold almost six times as many Chargers as the year before.

About the range

From the nineties on, Ertl «American Muscle» was the most widespread 1:18 range of US cars: cleanly proportioned, with opening doors, hood and trunk. Not the last word in detail, but solidly built and no longer available new.
