The 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A with the 340 Six Pak in orange — 1:18 by Highway 61, with its original box.

The real car

The T/A was the street version of the Trans-Am race car: a 340 with three two-barrel carburettors, a fibreglass hood with a scoop, side-exit exhausts and bigger wheels at the back than at the front. Only 2,399 were built, in a single model year.

About the range

Among collectors Highway 61 counts as the more precise address: finer engraving, real fabric and metal parts, correctly reproduced engine bays. The runs were small, and since the brand was discontinued they are markedly harder to find than Ertl.
