Petra Mason, Rizzoli · foreword by Dita Von Teese · from the estate of the photographer who discovered Bettie Page
Item no. 100-981-000
Bunny Yeager was a model before she became a photographer — and as a photographer she made the pin-up pictures that people now take for the pictures of those years. She brought Bettie Page to the Florida beaches and invented her own visual language in Miami: sunlight instead of studio flash, movement instead of pose.
Petra Mason drew on Yeager's archive — much of it never published. Foreword by Dita Von Teese. Rizzoli printed it large and true to colour; the Kodachrome tones are half the content.
Clean, boards without knocks, block tight.
Historical pin-up material from collectors' holdings. Sold to adults.
