From the 2022 Swiss cult film · hand-modelled · black turned base
Item no. 030-366-000
A life-size bulldog head on a black turned base — and not an off-the-shelf ornament but a screen-used prop from «Mad Heidi», the Swiss splatter western of 2022.
«Mad Heidi» is the bloodiest Heidi ever filmed: a Swiss genre satire by Johannes Hartmann and Sandro Klopfstein, crowdfunded by thousands of backers and traded internationally as «Swissploitation». Everything about it was self-built — the set dressing included. This head was part of it.
The provenance rests on my own statement as previous owner; a studio certificate is not included. Anyone who needs one for valuation should know that before buying.
Not a smooth production piece but modelled by hand: the skin folds are irregular, the nose set off with a wet sheen, the tongue painted separately. The base is turned and lacquered black. Built for the camera means: from a metre away the thing looks real.
Good, paintwork complete, base firm, no chips.
