Item no. 100-766-000
The history of the Mopar muscle cars by Anthony Young: from the Chrysler 300 of the fifties through Road Runner, Challenger and Barracuda to Viper and Prowler. Motorbooks / MBI, 1999, hardcover with dust jacket.
The arc runs from the sober flathead sixes through the 1951 Hemi V8 to the present of the year of publication. The engine range is covered in detail, along with the paint colours and their comic-book names — Plum Crazy, Sublime, Go Mango — the Air Grabber hoods and Chrysler’s racing history through Sox & Martin and the Ramchargers. According to the back cover, 180 colour and 70 black-and-white photographs.
Hardcover, with the original dust jacket. Landscape format, printed in China. Text in English. ISBN 0-7603-0533-1.
Good. Text block firm in the binding, all pages clean, no markings, no owner’s name. The dust jacket is creased at one lower corner and slightly bumped at the edges — shelf marks, no tears.
