Description

An old pulley block: a solid wooden shell with rounded cheeks, the sheave inside, and a hand-forged iron hook with a rolled end on top. Wood and iron have grown together over decades.

Why such pieces are wanted

Old ship and workshop blocks have a form that is pure function — nothing about them is styled, everything is used. That is exactly why they work today as an object on the wall or as a lamp mount.
