Description

A length of bamboo with a tiki face in it: eyes, nose and mouth pierced right through, the surface around them covered in fine chip-carved patterning. Inside there is room for a tealight.

The effect

Unlit it is an object; lit it becomes a face — the light comes through eyes and mouth and throws the pattern onto the wall. That is exactly what these lanterns were made for.
