The Automobil Revue of Bern published a catalogue issue every year for the Geneva show: all passenger cars available worldwide, with dimensions, engine data, outputs and Swiss prices, plus brochure drawings and photographs. Around 486 pages, entirely bilingual in German and French. For the sixties this is the densest source there is — which is why the old volumes sit on restorers’ shelves.

The volume is bound in red with «Automobil-Revue 1966» stamped on the spine. Most catalogue issues come as softcovers; bound, the thick block holds together considerably better. Whether the binding is the publisher’s or a bookbinder’s is stated nowhere inside.

Good for its age. Text block firm in the binding, all pages present, paper evenly browned. The cover is rubbed at edges and corners, the spine faded light. No markings, no owner’s name.
