Description

A brown glass apothecary bottle with a ground-in glass stopper: slim body, short neck, no label left.

Why brown

Brown glass keeps out UV light — which is why light-sensitive tinctures and oils always lived in it while water and salts went into clear glass. The stopper is ground in, not just fitted: it suits this one bottle alone, because neck and stopper were ground together. Lose it and the bottle stays open.
