Mid-century wall unit · teak, five pieces

A five-piece wall unit: three low chests of drawers on slim black metal legs, plus a two-part upper section — four drawers below, a cabinet with adjustable shelves above. Lined up, the three chests run to a good two metres; the upper section sits on one of them and turns the row into a wall.

Teak, carried through inside and out — warm golden-brown with straight figure. There is no maker's mark; the construction, with slim black metal legs and a stackable upper section, is typical of the sixties.

Every drawer is lined with flower paper — green, pink, yellow and orange, unmistakably of its time. That is not damage, it belongs to the piece; anyone who prefers it plainer can peel the paper out, there is clean wood underneath.

Good. Veneer intact throughout, no lifted patches, no water rings on the tops. Drawers run, doors close. Marks of use, as a piece of this age carries.
